Title: "Cracked it!"
Author: Steve Boggan
Summary: Boggan gets two computer "experts" to read British e-Passports in their possession and theorises that it would be possible to clone the chip data.
Our response: there is nothing remarkable about reading the e-Passport data once it is in your possession. Cloning the chip is only useful for an impostor (an old problem); in any case the paper document with its security features has to be forged as well.
